Saura Weekly Updates - May 5, 2019

It was an exciting week for the Sauras!  Conference championships, Beta Club events, field trips, Special Olympics, and Charlotte's Web were just a few of the things that kept our students busy this week.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the South Stokes Theater Program as they presented Charlotte's Web this weekend.  Mrs. Holland and her students put a lot of work into the program and that was evident in their performance!  If you were not able to see the show, check out the recording on our Facebook page.

We also have several sports victories to celebrate!  Congratulations to the Lady Saura Soccer team who won the NW1A Conference title and the Saura Baseball Team who won the Conference Tournament in the championship game against East Surry.  We also look forward to seeing several of our Sauras compete in Track & Field Regionals this week:  Ryley Lawson (100H, 300H), Lucey Patterson (100H), Hannah Roberts (PV), Bryson Autry (PV), Austin Evans (1600 & PV), Elijah Dunn (Discus), and Nimai Browning (100H, 300H, LJ, TJ)!!
