Second Semester Begins

Please check you email or ask to log into your students' Canvas courses to learn more about coursework for this semester. You are also encouraged to call or email teachers with any questions.

If you need access to the PowerSchool Parent Portal or would like to be an observer in your students' Canvas courses, please contact the school.

Return to In-Person Learning
Students who have been on Plan C - all remote learning who would like to return to school on their assigned days are welcome to return for 2nd semester.  If students need to be added to bus routes, please call the school or email Mr. Tedder at matthew.tedder@stokes.k12.nc.us.

School Nutrition Updates
Breakfast and lunch will continue to be free for all students through the remainder of the school year.  The program will soon begin offering extras for sale in addition to distributing the meals.  Students must receive a meal before being able to purchase chips, snacks, cookies, and extras.  Students will only be able to purchase extras if they have money or there is money on their accounts.  No charging of extras will be allowed.  You can view your student's lunch account and add money to accounts at https://www.k12paymentcenter.com/.  You can also view the menu for the month on the Stokes County School Nutrition website.

Blood Drive
South Stokes student Hannah Johnson has organized a Red Cross Blood Drive that will take place Friday, January 15 from 2:00 pm - 6:30 pm at South Stokes Fire Department (4747 Flat Shoals Road, Walnut Cove).  To schedule an appointment, go to www.redcrossblood.org and us sponsor code Hannah Johnson. We hope you will consider donating!
