Saura Weekly Updates - February 3, 2019

Spirit Week & Sweetheart Court
Sweetheart Court will now by Tuesday, February 5.  Conflicts with other events our young men on the sweetheart court were involved in required the change in order for all participants to have the opportunity to be present.  We hope we will see you on Tuesday evening as we crown the 2019 Sweetheart King.

This week will also be Spirit Week.  We encourage students to show their Saura Pride each day and join us for our two home basketball games on Tuesday and Friday this week.

Blood Drive
South Stokes is hosting a blood drive on Wednesday, February 6.  If you would like to schedule an appointment, please call the school at 336-994-2995 or visit https://www.redcrossblood.org/.  Drop-ins are also welcome.  Please sign in at the office when you arrive to donate.

Report Cards Delayed
The Department of Public Instruction has discovered an error in the calculation of grades in the new Gradebook program. We have been given instructions to correct the error. Correcting the error has caused a delay in the distribution of the report cards. We are sorry for the delay but feel that it is necessary to ensure students receive proper credit for their hard work this first semester. We will communicate the new report card distribution date once grades have been corrected and verified.
