Saura Weekly Updates - September 29, 2019

College, Career, and More:  Counselor Updates
Our counselors send emails and post updates on Twitter @SSHSCounselors about upcoming opportunities and college and career information.  Encourage your student to connect with counselors and check their email regularly to stay up-to-date.  You can also get information from their website  If you would like to set up a meeting with your child's counselor about future courses and post-secondary plans, you can reach them at 336-994-2995 or via email:

College Fair

South Stokes will host a College Fair on Wednesday, October 2.  Sophomores, juniors, and seniors are eligible to attend and they received a list of representatives who will be on campus that day. Parents are welcome to attend from 11:30 am-Noon in the main gym. Please check-in at the main office before going to the gym.

School Fees
We are now collecting school fees.  Please see the fee chart below to determine what is owed for this semester.  Fees can be paid in the office before school, between classes, during lunch, or after school.

Sports schedules can be found on the 
South Stokes Calendar and the front page of the website.  You can find additional information on players and more at  We are also adding sports schedules to the  as we receive schedules.

Sports Physicals:  Student athletes all must have a current sports physical on file to participate in workouts, practices, and competitions.   Your doctor will need to complete the sports physical form  and should be signed by the student's parent/guardian.
