Saura Weekly Updates - March 1, 2020

It was another busy week at South!  Our juniors did a great job working on their ACT on Tuesday, the winter sports season came to a close, we celebrated FFA Week and registration for the 2020-2021 school year began!  This week, spring sports begin!

Registration for 2020-2021Thank you to everyone who came out for Spring Semester Conferences, the meeting for rising 9th graders and Curriculum Fair.  Registration for the 2020-2021 is here so students are in the process of meeting with counselors and selecting classes for next school year.  If you would like to schedule an appointment with our counselors you can email them or call the school.

Driver's Education Class

Registration for the next driver's ed class is now available on the Drivers Ed page of the school website.  The class will be held March 23 through April 3 from 3:30 - 6:30 pm.  Students must have been born on or before September 23, 2005 to register for the class.  Registration will close on Friday, March 13.  Complete information and the registration form can be found on the DRIVERS ED PAGE of the school website.

Student Progress
Be sure to stay informed of your student's progress on PowerSchool.  Parents and guardians can login to see grades, attendance and more on their mobile devices and computers.  If you do not have a PowerSchool login and would like access to your student's information, please contact Jill Tuttle at South Stokes.  If you have questions or concerns about their progress, be sure to attend Spring Semester Conferences or contact your student's teachers.

Athletic Boosters Cash Giveaway
The Athletic Boosters will hold their annual Cash Giveaway on Saturday, March 28, 2020.  Dinner will begin at 6:00 pm followed by the draw down.  Tickets are $100 and include dinner for two and a chance to win $10,000.  See any Athletic Booster member or call the school to purchase a ticket.  Thank you for supporting our Saura athletes!

The spring sports season is here!

South Stokes Calendar. You can find additional information on players and more at Additional schedules will be added as available

Sports Physicals: Student athletes all must have a current sports physical on file to participate in workouts, practices, and competitions. Your doctor will need to complete the sports physical form and should be signed by the student's parent/guardian.
