Senior Shirts Are Here!
Class of 2021 shirts have arrived!  Students who attend school in person may pick shirts up from Becky Patterson in room F6.  Students on Plan C - all remote learning may pick shirts up in the office Monday through Friday between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm.

Exams - Fall 2020
Fall semester exams will be administered December 16-22.  State exams which include CTE Post-Assessments and End-of-Course Tests are required to be administered in person.  All teacher made exams will be administered remotely to students who are not exempt.

We are making plans to ensure testing rooms have small groups of students to help provide for social distancing during the exam periods.  All students (including those on Plan C - All Remote Learning) who are taking courses with state exams should make plans to attend school on the day of their exam.

Exams count 20% of students' final grades.  If you have questions about whether your courses have state exams, please speak with your teacher.  Information about exams can also be found in students' Homeroom Canvas Course.

On-campus exams will be administered from 8:30 am - 12:20 pm.  Teacher made exam details will be provided by students' teachers.

Sauras Caring for the Community
Despite the challenges of a COVID school year, our Sauras continue to care for the community.  Just a few examples of how our Sauras are impacting those around them are below:

Led by Lucey Patterson, the Period Poverty Project was a success collecting feminine hygiene products for East Stokes Outreach Ministry.  Beta Club members also helped collect a truckload full of coats for ESOM as well!

FFA members recently collected pet supplies and food for animal rescue and adoption organizations in Stokes County.

Yearbook Contest!
The theme of the 2020-2021 yearbook is "Break Free".  Students are encouraged to share their ideas through an essay contest.  Write up to three essays using the prompts below for inclusion in the yearbook.  Winners will receive $50 and runner up will win $30 with a winner and runner up selected for each prompt.

1. What makes you feel free?
2. What do you do in your free time?
3. Free to be you: what makes you unique?

Any work submitted may be featured in the 2020-2021 yearbook.  Essays should be no longer than 350-500 words and share essays with Alyssa Smith by November 24.

Seniors should check their email and complete the form about Senior Quotes and senior pictures.  The form is due by November 24.
